Yolande Mostert, trading as PSI-G Placement Services International South Africa, of Bethlehem, Free State, South Africa, is the data controller responsible for the personal information described here. • Account data (name, email address, login credentials) — to create and secure your account. Legal basis: performance of a contract.
• Application data (identity and passport details, date of birth, home address, parents’ names and dates of birth, relationship and spouse details, education, employment history, skills, driver’s licence and social security details, medical history, smoking status and criminal record disclosures) — to prepare and support your visa application and placement. Legal basis: performance of a contract and your consent for sensitive categories such as health and criminal record information.
• Uploaded documents (passport, ID, police clearance, medical certificates, references) — to submit and verify your application. Legal basis: contract and consent.
• Employer and billing data (company name, contact person, billing address, invoice details) — to issue invoices and manage placements. Legal basis: contract and legal obligation.
• Usage, device and log data (IP address, browser, pages viewed, error logs) — for security, fraud prevention and improving the service. Legal basis: legitimate interests.
• Support messages — to answer your questions. Legal basis: legitimate interests.

• Paddle.com, our reseller and Merchant of Record, for the sale of our services, payments, invoicing and tax compliance.
• Service providers and subprocessors — hosting, database, file storage, email and support tooling used to run the website.
• Prospective United States employers and immigration agents where you have asked us to place you, and only with the information needed for that placement.
• Professional advisers (legal, accounting) and authorities where required by law.

Because we place applicants in the United States, your information may be transferred outside South Africa, including to the United States and the European Union. We rely on appropriate safeguards such as contractual protections with our providers and, where required, your consent.

We keep application data for as long as your application or placement is active and for up to five years afterwards, to meet legal, tax and audit obligations. After that it is deleted or anonymised. You may ask us to delete data sooner where no legal obligation requires us to keep it.

Under the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA), and the GDPR where it applies, you may request access to your information, correction, deletion, restriction of processing, portability, and object to processing. You may withdraw consent at any time. Email yolande@psiplacements.co.za and we will respond within one month. You may also complain to the South African Information Regulator, or your local supervisory authority.

We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures, including encrypted connections, access controls and private document storage restricted to you and authorised PSI-G staff.

We use essential cookies and local storage to keep you signed in, remember your saved application draft, and secure the site. We do not use advertising cookies. You can clear or block cookies in your browser settings, but essential cookies are needed for sign-in and the application form to work.
